too faced natural eye kit swatches-2
As much as I love to marvel at complicated eye looks with crazy colors and lots o’ blending, I get more practical use out of looks that are simple and easy.
I adore all-in-one palettes like the Too Faced Natural Eye Kit ($34, part of the new Naturally Naughty fall collection) for everyday use.
too faced natural eye kit swatches-1
The colors it comes with are of the highly wearable variety, which means they’re on the conservative end of the spectrum, but that also makes the kit a good overall value.
The double-sided brush/sponge applicator may not rise to the level of most MAC eyeshadow brushes, but it gets the job done and qualifies the kit for unexpected travel. Toss it into a purse with peace of mind, secure in the knowledge that the nine neutral matte and shimmer shadows it comes with sweep effortlessly over lids. They range from cool to warm shades and build and blend with ease.

Nude Beach, Honey Pot, Cocoa Puff
Too Faced even threw in three cheat sheets/cards, each describing how to do a different look.
They totes make getting dolled-up more of a cinch. :)

They’re small things, literally and figuratively, but lean one up against a bathroom mirror and you’re armed with enough knowledge to properly place shadows for three common kinds of eye looks: classic, daytime and fashion.
If you’ve got school this fall or want a few new looks for work, take a closer look at the Too Faced Natural Eye Kit. Too bad Too Faced couldn’t make room for eyeliner and mascara! :) Makeup and Beauty Blog Rating: A

faboo lippie picks from Mei Mei

Wet n Wild Mega Last Lipstick Review

A while back I saw theses lipsticks in Walgreens for about $2.99. I've really never been a fan of Wet n Wild not because it is inexpensive, but the fact that I really never thought they were great products. I really feel that there new line of products is a step up and I'm thinking of trying more. These lipsticks are super pigmented ,creamy and semi-matte. It doesn't feel dry on the lips and lasts for about 3 hours on me. Then I see the regular fading, but remember this is without eating, drinking, etc. For the price and pigmentation they are excellent. Plus there are a super variety of colors (20 colors on the website) although in Walgreens there were only around twelve I believe.

The colors I got were the following:
Bare it all (902)- a neutral color that matches my lips exactly it resembles Viva Glam V
Just Peachy(903) - a bright coral peach color
Mauve Outta Here (907) -a pink purple toned mauve
Think Pink(901)- a super light pink a little darker than Viva Glam Gaga
Smokin' Hot Pink (905)- Hot fuchsia but it leans more on the reddish side

The one thing that I absolutely do NOT like is the packaging. One of the five does not work well twisting up plus most of them move and rattle. Boo to the packaging...lol! (but as stated before what more can you ask for $3.00!)

On the Wet n Wild website they describe them as the following:

MEGA LAST LIP COLOR
Lips take center stage! This 4-hour, longwearing lip color leaves a semi-matte, crème finish in one stroke. Glides on easily with rich, velvety color that doesn't cake, feather, or bleed. Made with hydrating skin-care ingredients: Hyaluronic Microspheres provide extraordinary adhesion to lips, an exclusive polymer complex offers cushion-like feel and texture, and natural marine plant extracts Coenzyme Q10 and Vitamins A & E help smooth lips.

On to the swatches:
Each is in different lightings with and without flash so you can get a real feel for the colors.

This is a smokey purple look using my Wet n Wild Petal Pusher Palette.

Left Crease color-outer lid
Both Definer colors... first the purple and then the black with shimmers- crease
Left Browbone-highlight

a new favorite guru

Neutral Twist

I had to play with the Wet n Wild Palette so here is what I came up with:

Products used:

Too Faced Eye Shadow Insurance
NYX Milk
Comfort Zone Palette ( left side)

First I used just the brow bone ,eyelid and crease color in those exact places...
You get this soft daytime look:
I still have not put eyeliner and mascara so it looks a little plain but you get the idea.

Then I added the Definer to the crease and bottom lash;
Whoa Mama... Night time smokey eye! LOL!

Here is it more blended  with the crease color so it looks a little less dramatic:

The Definer shows up more like black with glitter rather than the dark burgundy you see in the picture.

Smooth talker...not my own source

Review: Hard Candy Fox in a Box : Smooth Talker !

I previously did a review on Hard Candy: Fox in a Box in Hot Flash which you can check out HERE!

So this is $6.00 at Wal-mart...

Pros:
Nice highlight for my skin tone ( NC30-35)
Blends nicely
Affordable
Gives a natural soft coral highlight sheen on my cheeks

Cons: Again the useless brush

Check out this review by Justine from Productrater where she compares this to Benefit Sugarbomb. She is the reason I bought this so check it out here :

Hard Candy website describes this as:

A highly pigmented multi-color powder compact that will surely bring out your inner foxy lady. Each box contains coordinated shades that blend together perfectly and a custom Hard Candy applicator brush. Sweep across chin, cheeks, and forehead and unleash the foxiness in you!

Hard Candy Fox in a Box - All Five!

Hi loves!!! Wanted to put all the links and reviews in one place for the Hard Candy Fox in a Box.
I already did reviews on two of these blushes so I'll put the links below...

For swatches and review on Smooth Talker click here:

For swatches on Hot flash Click here:

My review for all of them is the following:

Pros:
Super pigmented
Soft and blendable
Smooth textureVery affordable ($6.00 each)
Cute packaging
Magnetic box allows it to full close

Cons:

Brush is not useful... although I do like that it is strapped to the lid.

* Remember you can click on the pictures to see them full sized !

Pics of the 5 boxes together...
Top Row: Smooth Talker, Skinny Dipping, Hot Flash
Bottom Row: Truth or Dare, Spicy & Sweet

The Quads: Smooth Talker, Hot Flash,Spicy & Sweet

*The links for review/swatches of smooth talker and hot flash are at the beginning of this post...

These are the swatches for Spicy & Sweet... the four colors...

Blended all together: As you can see this one is more subtle neutral pink.

The Duos: Truth or Dare and Skinny Dipping

Truth or Dare swatches...
the pink is very soft baby pink and would look better on lighter skin tones,
on my skin tone its very soft pink highlight
The brown shade is a great bronzer...

 Skinny Dipping swatches:
Beautiful coral and the other color is more a neutral blush rather than a bronze

Have you picked any of theses up? What are your thoughts? Do you like them/ hate them?
