Get Naked with Urban Decay’s Newest Palette
Apply the term to beauty, and I am sure you will immediately picture yourself, bare-faced and fancy-free. That will look a little something like this:
Now, let’s finish this game… I say Naked, and Urban Decay, and you see what? Hopefully, it’s this:
The newest addition to the Urban Decay palette family turns the definition of naked right on its ear. With twelve shades that run the range from nearly nude to devilishly dark, naked in this case refers to those basic shades that are anything but. These are the shades that Urban Decay feels you cannot live without, and I would be obliged to agree.
The far left of the palette holds the light, barely there shades that provide that sheer, silky wash of color. The finishes range from silky satin, to shimmering irridescant
Taking center stage are those middle of the road golds and browns, that are perfect for a work-friendly soft, smoky eye.
Far right are the shades that really make me swoon- the inky, iridescent dark shades. Also included with the palette are 24-7 liners in smog and zero, and a mini primer potion.
Each and every shade in this palette is rich, pigmented, and buttery soft. This is Urban Decay eyeshadow at its best, folks.
Swatched: L=>R Virgin, Sin, Naked, Sidecar, Buck, Half-Baked, Smog, Darkhorse, Toasted, Hustle, Creep, Gunmetal
And in action, as seen in a recent face of the day
The Urban Decay Naked Palette sold out in a hot minute on the website, but with the wild following it has developed I am almost certain that it will make a comeback again very soon. Thanks to this set of decadent, delightful, universal shades, going ‘naked’ has never been easier, or more legal!
What say you, fanatics? Is this palette a keeper?
