LipFusion Objects of Desire Micro-Collagen Lip Plump Holiday Capsule Collection -- Four Glosses Worth A Kiss
For Holiday 2010, Fusion Beauty is plumping up the volume — not just on your lips, but also on its packaging, adorning the clear rectangular tubes of these four new gloss shades with reflective, silver-colored flowers with swirling stems and leaves. The reflective mirrored caps also add a glamorous feel, which makes these baroque-flavored glosses worthy of a prime spot inside your boudoir. The new LipFusion Objects of Desire glosses make use of Fusion Beauty's patented lip-plumping technology, which consists of moisture-locking, marine collagen micro-spheres that become re-hydrated upon penetrating the skin, thereby increasing the volume of your lips, making them look fuller and more sumptuous. Unlike other lip plumpers in the market, however (like my nemesis, the Duwop Lip Venom), the LipFusion Micro-Collagen Lip Plump glosses don't produce an uncomfortable tingling or burning sensation.
Each gloss features a remarkably soft, sponge applicator wand, ideal for delivering a hint of color to lips. Though these colors are rather sheer, they do add a natural-looking tint that makes plumper lips all the more appealing.
The new holiday capsule collection consists of four new shades: Rhinestone, an iridescent, lavender-tinged light pink with clear, pink, and magenta glitter micro particles; 24K, a sheer peach with a golden tint and multi-colored micro pearls; Posh, a sheer, medium fuchsia with an icy, even sheen; and Show Off!, a magenta plum pink with pink, red, and clear glimmer particles.

Here's another look at the (from left to right) Rhinestone, 24K, Show Off! and Posh shades:
Next, here's a close-up of what the Posh gloss looks like on my lips. As you can see, the color is way less intense when layered over lips, which have a natural pink tint to them. The Posh color, then, shouldn't intimidate you — even if it does look rather vivid in its packaging. In actuality, the gloss just makes your lips look as if you'd pressed them against a cherry ice pop for a few minutes and pulled away.
Moving on, here's what the Rhinestone shade looks like on my lips. Since the color is so light, the only differences you can detect are the cool lavender undertones and the abundance of sparkling pink and silver micro-pearl spheres, which make the mouth dazzle.
